I just graduated with a bachelor degree in business. I am planning to apply for an entry-level position in marketing. Of course, I want my resume to look very professional, therefore I plan to put my email address on my resume. Unfortunately, my email address from school will expire within one month.
“What Should I do?”
“You can store your email with us temporarily, then you can access your messages whenever you need. For example, you can read your messages from the school computer or any other computer which is connected to the internet.”
WorldPost provides the services to help Ann solve her problems.
Ann told me about WorldPost. Actually, it is a great idea! But I just bought a modem for my computer, therefore I will subscribe to an internet provider. Absolutely, I will get my new email address and can put it either on my resume or on my business card. However, Ann asked me one question which made me confused.
“Do you think you might switch Internet providers at some point in the future.? How about your email address?”
“What should I do?”
“With WorldPost, you will have a permanent email address. For example, your email address could be Bobby@worldpost.com. All messages sent to Bobby@worldpost.com. will be forwarded to your current Internet provider. Therefore, even though you want to change your Internet provider later, your email address will stay the same and we will forward every message to your new account.”
WorldPost provides the services to help Bob solve his problem.
I am Bob’s sister. Bob told me about WorldPost. I told Bob that I have changed my email addresses as frequently as I have changed my jobs. Unfortunately, when I move to another company, I get a new email address from that new company.
“What Should I do?”
“The answer is the same as Bob’s.”
WorldPost provides the services to help Cathy solve her problems.
Cathy told me about WorldPost. My company uses email to communicate with many of our clients. Sometimes we use email to talk with a specific client and sometimes we use email to send the same information to lots of different clients. I am sure that with WorldPost, our company can keep our email address for a lifetime. But I am curious whether there are other services useful to the company.
“What else do you offer?”
“We have one service which is called Information Reply Service (IRS). The IRS gives companies an opportunity to send the same news or information to all clients by email. For example, your company could have one special email account, Info.FordConsulting@worldpost.com . If any client would like to get information or news about your company or services, this special account will automatically reply to their request.”
WorldPost provides the services to help Dave solve his problems.
I am one of Dave’s clients. Dave told me about WorldPost. Since the technology is changing so fast, it’s time to update myself. I am thinking about putting an email address on my publications. The readers can comment about my works easily. “Wow! Cool Idea.” Of course, I know WorldPost can keep my email address for years. “Umh….How about my home page? Can WorldPost forward my home page to wherever I want?”
“What sort of home page services do you offer?”
“We also provide a service for redirecting your existing home page. We provide you a lifetime home page reference, e.g.http://www.worldpost.com/~edward. You will never have to notify anybody that your homepage moved to another server. In addition, even if you do not have an internet account with a homepage space, you can also put your homepage(s) onto our web server for an small additional charge. Remember, the redirection is free, only if you want space on our do server you have to pay an additional charge.”
WorldPost provides the services to help Edward solve his problems.
I love reading most of Edward’s publications. He told me about WorldPost by the Information Reply Service. Actually, I don’t really care about keeping my email address for a lifetime because I don’t know how long I will live. Anyway email is the cheapest way to talk with my sons and daughters in another state. My problem is remembering my children’s email addresses because they’re too long. Ha.. Ha.. Ha.. sometimes I also forget my own email address. I like the fact that Edward’s email address is very short!!!!!!!!
“ How does it work with email addresses?”
“WorldPost offers you a short email address. We take your email address like Fmiller2@fortune.eng.school.edu and turn it into Frank@worldpost.com”
WorldPost provides the services to help Frank solve his problems.
I am Frank’s son. My Dad told me about WorldPost. I followed his suggestion and changed my email address into Frank’s son@worldpost.com Although it sounds funny, it makes me closer to my Dad. No problem! I didn’t use this name for my contacts with other people. With my professor, I use George.Engel@worldpost.com and with my boss, I use George.Supersales@worldpost.com
“How can he have so many names?”
“WorldPost allows George to sign up for two or more different aliases. Mail to any one of them will reach him. An alias can be up to a thousand characters long. He can create any kind of alias he likes, as long as it does not cannot conflict with someone else’s choice. Of course, nobody wants his messages sent to other people. Additionally, if he wants to add more aliases, he can pay an additional charge of $2.00 per each additional alias.”
